Bank Aesthetics Celebrates 6th Birthday with Amazing Beauty Decoded Event

beautydecoded eventBank Aesthetics, a boutique aesthetics clinic located in Kenilworth’s old High Street, is celebrating its 6th year anniversary with a special “Beauty Decoded” event; a relaxed and informal opportunity to meet and chat to the experts and get any questions you have about your skin or facial aesthetics answered.

Maria Phillips, Director and Lead Aesthetics Practitioner at the clinic explains, “This event is perfect for anyone considering a facial aesthetics treatment to help prevent or reduce the signs of ageing, or if you have concerns about your skin and would like advice on how you can improve it. Alongside myself, there will be product specialists from Allergan and Obagi Medical”

Maria‘s qualifications as a registered nurse and independent nurse prescriber, combined with being an active member of the BACN, has resulted in Bank Aesthetics establishing itself as one of Warwickshire’s leading clinics.

Maria continues, “Another reason for holding this event is to educate people on the importance of who and where you go to for aesthetic treatments. The growing popularity in aesthetics and the celebrity trends within the media and online has unfortunately meant an increase in the number of under qualified practitioners and cheap products. If you are having something injected into your face, would you not prefer to be treated by a medically trained practitioner who not only uses the best quality products, but also conducts a full medical consultation along with a psychological assessment to ensure the treatment is right for you.”

Nancy Ghattas, Associate Vice President UK & Ireland Country Manager at Allergan said, “As consumers are devoting more attention to their appearance, they are demanding faster innovation as well as higher quality techniques and diligence from healthcare practitioners – so that quality of care is not compromised. As a Medical Aesthetics leader, it is our responsibility to educate and empower consumers to make informed decisions that are right for them.”

Allergan’s advice is to ask 4 questions before any treatment

1. CHECK IT: Can you tell me about your training and experience?

2. SEE IT: Can I see examples of your work?

3. KNOW IT: Which brand of filler do you use?

4. UNDERSTAND IT: What treatment do I need to get the look I want?

Patient wellbeing and safety is Bank Aesthetics’ number one priority, and this is backed-up by their Government approved Save Face Accreditation.

Brett Collins, Director of Save Face, explains more about this award “Each and every practitioner and clinic listed in our register has been inspected against our robust set of standards. We visit each clinic location and undertake rigorous checks so that patients at these clinics can be assured when they select a practitioner from the Save Face register, they will be in safe hands that use safe products in a safe and hygienic setting. Maria and her team have been on board with us from the beginning as they also realise the importance of safety within the aesthetics industry. Bank Aesthetics has now achieved a status of Excellence; our highest recognition.”

To be an expert in any industry you need to be committed and Bank Aesthetics regularly attends training courses to keep up to date with the latest treatments and procedures and have reached masterclass level; putting them at the forefront of the Aesthetics industry. They are often called upon for their expert opinion, which included an appearance on the ITV news.

Maria and her team look forward to welcoming you to the clinic on the 15th May from 4pm.
